Three Greco-Roman wrestlers from the “Neftchi” Sports Club have shown great determination and won gold medals at the World Championship held in Tirana, the capital of Albania. In the decisive final matches, Eldeniz Azizli (55 kg) defeated Iranian Poya Marza, Nihat Mammadli (63 kg) triumphed over Kazakh Yerzhet Jarlikasin, and Ulvi Ganizade (72 kg) overcame Frenchman Ibrahim Ghanem to become world champions.

Notably, Eldeniz Azizli has made history by becoming Azerbaijan’s first four-time world champion in wrestling.
