Today, a shooting competition was held among employees of state institutions. The event, organized at the Baku Shooting Center, featured 57 participants (19 women and 38 men) from 20 state institutions.
According to the final results, in the women’s category, SOCAR employee Ilaha Hajiyeva (“SOCAR Polymer”) accurately hit 13 out of 15 targets and won the competition.
In the men’s competition, Elshan Lalayev, a participant in the 44-day Patriotic War and a SOCAR employee (from “Azneft” PU “Absheronneft” OGPD), who had won two bronze medals (individual and team) in a similar competition last September, advanced to the finals with 13 points. He finished second, just one point behind the winner (5:6), and was awarded the silver medal.
SOCAR’s Security Department employees Elmeddin Huseynov and Murad Huseynov scored 11 and 10 points, respectively, sharing 5th-6th and 7th-10th places.
