Today, a table tennis competition among state institution employees was held at the “Shua” Sports and Health Complex. The SOCAR team was fully represented in both the women’s and men’s categories. In the men’s competition, Rashadat Qazibayov and Rauf Lachinov, employees of the Shirvanli Export Oil Delivery Department of the Oil Pipelines Management, advanced to the top in the group stage but were defeated by stronger opponents in the playoff stage.
In the women’s competition, Svetlana Kayumova, an employee of the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery, won against all her opponents in both the group and final stages, reaching the highest step on the podium. Her teammate, Nargiz Dashdamirova, an employee of the Labor Conditions Standards Development Department, secured third place.
