The chess competition was organized jointly by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Chess Federation among state institutions. The tournament, held at the Republic Chess Center, 67 participants (56 men, 11 women) from 31 state institutions competed for the title.
In the tournament, conducted according to the Swiss system, SOCAR team representative Ulkar Magsudova (Caspian Innovation Center) scored 4 points from 7 rounds (3 wins, 2 draws, 2 losses) and took the third place among the women.
