The SOCAR-2024 minifootball tournament, supported by SOCAR and organized by the “Neftçi” Sports Club, started on August 17 among the employees of oil, gas, and chemical industry enterprises, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the “Contract of the Century,” and continues.
Today, the round of 16 matches were played in the tournament, which took place at the covered fields of the Baku Olympic Stadium.
In matches held under intense and exciting competition, the teams of “Balakhani” JSC, “Azerigas” PU, “Neftgaztikinti” Trust, “SOCAR Petroleum”, “Azneft” PU, SOCAR Downstream Management, Information Technology and Communication Department, and “Gulf Drilling Azerbaijan” advanced to the quarterfinals with victories.
It should be noted that the tournament will continue until September 21.
