Another representative of the “Neftçi” Sports Club, Səid Nəcəfzadə, has won a gold medal at the Paris 2024 Summer Paralympic Games. The para-athlete competed in the T12 category in the long jump event. Our athlete became the Paralympic champion with a result of 7.27 meters.
It should be noted that earlier, two of our club’s para-taekwondo athletes also achieved success: İmaməddin Xəlilov (K44 category, 70 kg) became a Paralympic champion, and Sabir Zeynalov (K44 category, 58 kg) won a bronze medal. Additionally, our para-swimmer Raman Saley (S12 category, 100 meters backstroke) earned a silver medal.
