The European Judo Cup for juniors was held in Berlin, the capital of Germany. More than 500 athletes from 35 countries competed for medals in the tournament.
The judokas from the “Neftçi” Sports Club, representing our national team, finished the prestigious tournament with a set of medals.
Süleyman Shukyurov (81 kg) won a silver medal in the boys’ competition.Among our female athletes, Fidan Alizade (57 kg) defeated all her opponents to become the winner of the European Cup, while Könül Aliyeva (48 kg) finished the tournament in third place.
