The wrestlers of the “Neftchi” Sports Club finished the international multi-sport event “BRICS Sports Games Kazan-2024” held in Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan, with 5 medals.
Our freestyle wrestlers, Orkhan Abasov (79 kg) won silver, and Jeyhun Allahverdiyev (61 kg) won bronze.
And the Greco-Roman wrestlers, Arif Niftullayev (97 kg) defeated all his opponents and won a gold medal. Ziya Babashov (63 kg) earned silver, and Sarkhan Mammadov (130 kg) won bronze medals.
