The Azerbaijani women’s team won a silver medal at the World Youth Shooting Championship held in Lima, the capital of Peru. The team, consisting of Zeynab Sultanova, Leyli Aliyeva, and Sofiya Barxalova, successfully competed in the 10-meter air pistol shooting event, securing the second place on the podium.
It is worth mentioning that Leyli Aliyeva is a member of the “Neftchi” Sports Club.
Additionally, it should be noted that 566 athletes from 51 countries are competing in the championship, which will conclude on October 7.
