The para-taekwondo athletes of “Neftchi” Sports Club won 2 medals at the “President’s Cup” tournament held in Taiyan, China. Although Imameddin Khalilov (70 kg), one of our representatives who competed in the K44 category, reached the final, he did not participate in the decisive match due to injury and was awarded the silver medal of the competition. Our other athlete Sabir Zeynalov (58 kg) finished the tournament in third place.
It should be noted that the competition earns rating points for the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Paralympic Games.
