The European Judo Cup held among adults in Dubrovnik, Croatia has come to an end.
Among the women, Aydan Valiyeva (52 kg), a representative of the “Neftchi” Sports Club, defeated all her rivals and ascended to the highest step of the podium. Gultaj Mammadaliyeva (52 kg) was awarded a silver medal.
In the men’s competition, Vugar Talibov (90 kg) finished the tournament in third place.
In the European Cup among youth held in Poznan, Poland, our club’s judoka Suleyman Shukurov (81 kg) won a silver medal, losing only in the final match. Nihad Memishov (60 kg) won the bronze medal of the competition.
