Another Greco-Roman wrestler from the “Neftchi” Sports Club, Khasay Hasanli, won the bronze medal at the U-23 World Championship held in Tirana, Albania. Representing our country in the 77 kg weight category, our athlete faced Georgian Temuri Orjonikidze in the match for third place. Khasay Hasanli secured a 7:1 victory over his opponent, earning the third place on the podium.
It should be noted that previously, our Greco-Roman wrestlers Rashad Mammadov (55 kg) won the silver medal, and Nihad Guluzade (60 kg) won the bronze medal.
