The freestyle wrestlers of the “Neftchi” Sports Club finished the “Dan Kolov – Nikola Petrov” tournament held in Varna, Bulgaria, with two medals. One of our athletes, Murad Hagverdiyev (65 kg), performed confidently and advanced to the final. He lost to local athlete Salim Naim in the decisive match and was awarded a silver medal. Our other wrestler, Jeyhun Allahverdiyev (61 kg), took the third place.
