Our female wrestler Ruzanna Mammadova became the European bronze medalist

Ruzanna Mammadova (59 kg), “Neftchi” Sports Club’s wrestler was awarded the bronze medal at the U-23 European Championship held in Baku. Our athlete won Romanian wrestler Puiu Ana Maria in the match for third place.
It should be noted that previously, our club’s Greco-Roman wrestlers achieved great success: Ziya Babashov (63 kg), Khasay Hasanli (77 kg), and Gurban Gurbanov (82 kg) won gold, Nihad Guluzade (60 kg) won silver, and Rashad Mammadov (55 kg) won bronze medals.
