“Neftchi” Sports Club’s two wrestlers won medals at the U-23 European Championship held in Baku. Wrestlers Gurban Gurbanov (82 kg) won all his matches and became the European champion. Another wrestler, Nihad Guluzada (60 kg), was awarded a silver medal.
It should be noted that earlier, our club’s Greco-Roman wrestlers Ziya Babashov (63 kg) and Khasay Hasanli (77 kg) also won gold medals, while Rashad Mammadov (55 kg) secured a bronze medal.
