The regional championship among cadets in boxing has come to an end. 153 athletes from 50 teams tested their strength in 17 weight categories at the tournament organized at the Baku Boxing Center.
Boxers of the “Neftchi” Sports Club fought hard in the competition and won 8 medals (5 gold, 1 silver, 2 bronze) and took first place in the team score.
Our athletes Babek Abdullayev (40 kg), Eljan Musazade (50 kg), Nurlan Museyibli (66 kg), Ziraddin Rustamli (70 kg) and Nuray Gafarova (48 kg) won all matches and secured gold medals. Yunis Garazade (60 kg) was awarded silver, and Nihad Asadov (80 kg) and Akif Gurbanov (90 kg) were awarded bronze medals.
