Representing the “Neftchi” Sports Club, Malik Hasanov won a bronze medal at the European Championship held in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Competing in the 63.5-kilogram weight category, our representative was defeated without facing Moldovan athlete Alexandru Paraschiv in the semi-final, securing third place in the continental championship.
