At the Sports Palace of the Azerbaijan Technical University, a national tournament in the El-1 combat sport was held under the project “Youth’s Choice: A World Without Drugs” with financial support from the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and organized by the Youth Intercultural Cooperation League.
Representatives from the “Neftchi” Sports Club, Salahaddin Rahimov (53 kg), Alim Mammadov (62 kg), and Ayan Gulmammadli (50 kg), performed confidently and won the titles of tournament champions.
Overall, the “Neftchi” team secured third place in the team standings among the 100 athletes competing in the event.
It should be noted that the partners of the project, implemented with financial support from the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, are the El-1 Sports League, “Neftchi” Sports Club, and the Azerbaijan State Advertising Agency.
