Imamaddin Khalilov, the athlete of the “Neftchi” Sports Club and Paralympic champion, has been named the Best Male Para-Taekwondo Athlete of 2024 by the World Taekwondo Federation.
This year, he won gold medals in all the tournaments he participated in, earning the titles of Paralympic, World, and European Champion.
He is also the current leader of the world rankings. The para-taekwondo athlete received the award at a gala night held in Hong Kong.
It should be noted that Imamaddin Khalilov was granted this title based on the unanimous decision of the World Taekwondo Federation’s Technical Commission.
