The judokas from the “Neftchi” Sports Club, Könül Əliyeva (48 kg) and Fidan Əlizadə (57 kg), performed confidently at the European Championship held in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. They defeated all their opponents and won the prestigious tournament’s gold medals. In the decisive finals, Könül Əliyeva defeated Turkish judoka Zilan Ertem, and Fidan Əlizadə overcame Georgian judoka Nino Loladze.
It should be noted that the European Championship will conclude on September 8.
