The Juniors Azerbaijan Boxing Championship concluded. A total of 304 athletes, including 278 men and 26 women, from 64 teams representing various clubs and sports communities across the country, competed for medals. The final matches took place today at the Boxing Center. Boxers of “Neftchi” Sports Club achieved remarkable success, securing three gold, one silver, and one bronze medal.
Among our champions, Banuchichek Nasirli in the 48 kg category, Ozlam Hasanova in the 70 kg category, and Mirjalal Miraghayev in the 80 kg category won all their fights to claim the Azerbaijan Championship title. Firuzə Shabnyayeva in the 81 kg category earned silver, while Jeyhun Maharramli in the 75 kg category secured the bronze medal.
