Ilham Zakiyev, a para-judo athlete (J1 category) from the “Neftchi” Sports Club, secured the bronze medal at the XVII Summer Paralympic Games held in Paris, France. The two-time Paralympic champion faced Mongolian Ganbat Dashdavaa in the match for third place. Defeating his opponent, Ilham Zakiyev claimed the bronze medal at the Paris Paralympics.
