The European Championship among junior judokas continues in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. Today, another representative of the “Neftçi” Sports Club, who is part of the Azerbaijani national team, has been awarded a medal in this prestigious tournament. Competing in the 81 kg weight category, Süleyman Shukurov advanced to the final with determination. In the decisive match, our athlete faced Alexander Loladze from Georgia, defeated his opponent, and became the European champion.
It should be noted that yesterday, our club’s female judokas Konul Aliyeva (48 kg) and Fidan Alizade (57 kg) also achieved the same success and won gold medals.
The competition will continue until September 8.
