The “Badamlı Cup” held at the “Sarhadchi” Sports Center, organized by the leadership of the Azerbaijan Karate Federation and the “Badamlı Karate Club” operating in the traditional karate style Shito-Ryu, has come to an end.
About 500 athletes from 40 clubs from 15 regions competed for medals in the tournament.
The students of the “Neftchi” Sports Club also performed successfully in the competition. Our team of children (Agakarim Mammadov, Ahmad Aziz, Nihat Mustafayev, Hajiali Abdulrahmanov) took first place in the team competition in kumite.
Hajiali Abdulrahmanov (8-9 years old), Nihat Mustafayev (10-11 years old) and Ahmad Aziz (12-13 years old) won the tournament in individual kumite events. Yusif Mehdizade (5 years old) and Yagmur Mammadova (8-9 years old) won silver, and Musa Samadzade (6-7 years old) won bronze.
