Isa Rustamov, a weightlifter from the “Neftchi” Sports Club, won 3 medals at the European Championship held in the capital of Moldova, Chisinau. Our athlete won a bronze medal in the snatch, lifting 138 kilograms. He won a gold medal in the clean and jerk, lifting 170 kilograms. Our athlete, who lifted a total of 308 kilograms, was second in the final standings and was awarded the silver medal of the European Championship in the sum of the two movements.
