The Azerbaijan championship among wrestlers under the age of seventeen (U-17) continues at the Astara Olympic Sports Complex. The freestyle wrestlers’ competition concluded today.
The freestyle wrestlers of the “Neftchi” Sports Club fought hard in the tournament and won 15 medals (4 gold, 6 silver, 5 bronze) and took first place in the overall team score.
Our teenage athletes Hasan Hasanov (60 kg), Isa Yusubov (71 kg), Said Pashayev (92 kg) and Hakim Tagiyev (110 kg) won gols medals. Sadig Ismayilov (45 kg), Mustajab Mammadov (48 kg), Rashid Nazarov (60 kg), Nihad Abbas (71 kg), Amin Nasibov (92 kg) and Turab Muradzade (110 kg) were awarded silver medals, while Musa Tagiyev (45 kg), Aliaga Suleymanov (48 kg), Hajihuseyn Ahmadzade (51 kg), Tunar Guliyev (65 kg) and Nihad Suleymanli (80 kg) were awarded bronze medals.
