The female wrestler of the “Neftchi” Sports Club, Jala Aliyeva (57 kg), won a bronze medal at the European Championship held in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. Our female athlete faced Finnish Jenna Hemyae in the match for third place. Jala Aliyeva, who won a decisive victory, won a bronze medal.
It should be noted that previously, freestyle wrestlers of our club, Ali Rahimzade (65 kg), Kenan Heybatov (70 kg) and Aganazar Novruzov (74 kg), also won bronze medals at the continental championship.
