The freestyle wrestlers of the “Neftchi” Sports Club won 3 more medals at the U-23 European Championship held in the capital of Albania, Tirana. Our representatives, Jeyhun Allahverdiyev (61 kg) and Aganazar Novruzov (74 kg), lost only in the decisive final match and won silver medals. Our other athlete, Yusif Dursunov (125 kg), took the third step of the podium.
It should be noted that previously, one of the freestyle wrestlers of our club, Kenan Heybatov (70 kg), was awarded a silver medal, and Murad Hagverdiyev (65 kg) was awarded a bronze medal.
