The national championship in powerlifting and bench press was held in the competition hall of the Weightlifting Academy located in the Shuvelan settlement.
Azer Aliyev (120 kg), a representative of the “Neftchi” Sports Club, overcame a weight of 213 kilograms in the bench press and won a gold medal. Our athlete achieved the same success in absolute weight and became the champion of Azerbaijan.
