“Neftchi Sports Club” held its next seminar for football coaches at the Garadagh Training and Sports Base located in Lokbatan settlement. The main goal of the three-day seminar is to better prepare coaches methodologically, improve their football knowledge, help organize training at a modern level
and, as a result, to achieve the training of talented young footballers.
The director of the “Neftchi Sports Club” Children’s Football School, Maharram Hasanov, spoke to the seminar participants about the importance of children’s football and methods for identifying talents among young children.
Then, FIFA referee Aliyar Agayev spoke and provided the seminar participants with detailed information about the new rules of the game, as well as players’ clothing, yellow and red cards, fouls, free kicks (procedures), and answered various questions from the coaches.
At the next stage of the seminar, discussions were held about various systems. Both theoretical and practical exercises were held on social responsibility in football – football for all, the basic principles of the philosophy of the game, agility exercises, technical exercises: dribbling the ball with the outside of the foot, and other topics.
