September 27 is Remembrance Day in Azerbaijan. This year marks the fourth year that September 27 is observed as Remembrance Day in Azerbaijan. Established by the decree of President Ilham Aliyev on December 2, 2020, Remembrance Day honors the deep respect for our soldiers and officers who heroically fought and sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of our country, as well as all our martyrs.

Today, our people pay deep respect and homage to the cherished memory of all our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and prayers are said for their souls.

It should be noted that today, at 12:00 PM, a one-minute moment of silence will be observed across the country in honor of the memory of the martyrs.
