The SOCAR-2024 mini-football tournament, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the “Contract of the Century,” continues with the support of SOCAR and the organization of the “Neftçi” Sports Club, involving employees from the oil, gas, and chemical industry enterprises.
Today, the semifinal matches were held at the covered fields of the Baku Olympic Stadium. Both matches, played under the cheers of the fans, were exciting and intensely competitive. The team from “Azəriqaz” Production Union faced SOCAR Downstream Management, winning 1-0 to advance to the final.
The “Balakhani” Operating Company team defeated the “Azneft” Production Union team 3-0, securing their place in the final.
Thus, in the decisive final match, the “Balakhani” OC and “Azəriqaz” PU teams will face each other. SOCAR Downstream Management and “Azneft” PU teams will compete for third place.
