The XVII Summer Paralympic Games, held in Paris, the capital of France, are ongoing. “Neftçi” Sports Club’s para swimmer, Raman Saley, won a bronze medal in the S12 category for the 100-meter freestyle event, finishing in third place with a time of 53.65 seconds.
It is worth noting that earlier, other Paralympians from our club had also achieved success: Imamaddin Khalilov (para taekwondo, 70 kg) and Said Najafzade (T12, long jump) won gold medals, Raman Saley (100-meter backstroke) won a silver medal, and Sabir Zeynalov (para taekwondo, 58 kg) won a bronze medal.
