Raman Saley, a para-swimmer from the “Neftçi” Sports Club, has won a silver medal at the Paris 2024 Summer Paralympic Games held in France. Competing in the S12 category, our athlete excelled in the 100-meter backstroke event. He finished second in the final with a time of 1:00.67.
It should be noted that Raman Saley was a silver medalist at Rio 2016 and a double gold medalist at Tokyo 2020.
Additionally, it is worth mentioning that earlier, our club’s para-taekwondo athletes Imamaddin Khalilov (70 kg) won gold, and Sabir Zeynalov (58 kg) secured a bronze medal.
