The para-taekwondo athlete of the “Neftçi” Sports Club, Sabir Zeynalov (58 kg), won a bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Summer Paralympic Games held in France. Competing in the K44 category, our athlete faced Thai Thanva Kaenkham in the match for third place. Our Paralympian defeated his opponent with a score of 12:3 and claimed the bronze medal.
It should be noted that this is Azerbaijan’s first medal at the Paris 2024 Summer Paralympic Games. The Paris Paralympics will continue until September 8.
