The First World Corporate Sports Games, organized by the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Association “Labor Reserves” with the support of the Ministry of Sports of Russia and the Moscow City Sports Department, has concluded.
On the final day of the competition, Svetlana Kayumova, a member of the SOCAR team and a table tennis player, joined the competition. Our representative won a silver medal in the women’s individual event in the 45+ age category. She achieved the same success in the mixed team event of this sport. Specifically, the pair of Svetlana Kayumova (SOCAR) and Ali Bayramov (Ministry of Emergency Situations) secured second place on the podium.
It should be noted that earlier, the SOCAR women’s volleyball team was awarded the bronze medal in the tournament.
It is worth mentioning that, taking into account the fact that SOCAR’s respective women’s teams won first place in volleyball and table tennis competitions among state institution employees held by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in 2024, these teams were entrusted with representing our country in these sports included in the program of this international event.
