The selection-oriented open championship finished which held among football players born in 2013-2015, organized by the “Neftchi” Sports Club and started on June 24. The competition, held at the Garadag Training and Sports Base stadium in the Lokbatan settlement, featured six teams competing in a round-robin system.
In the end, the “Neftçi IK-1” team won the tournament with 15 points. The “Garadag-1” team (12 points) took second place, and the “Neftchi IK-2” team (9 points) secured third place.
In the tournament, Muhammad Maharramli (“Neftchi IK-1”) was named the “best player,” Raul Hasanov (“Neftchi IK-1”) was the “top scorer,” and Gurban Mammadov (“Neftchi IK-2”) was the “best goalkeeper.”
The teams that placed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd were awarded trophies, diplomas, and medals by the “Neftchi” Sports Club. The winners of the nominations were also presented with diplomas, medals, and gifts.
