Baku City Fencing
Championship has been finished. Held among the young, capital championship has
taken place in the hall of Fencing Federation.”Neftchi” Sports
Club’s fencers have gained 2 gold medals, a silver medal, 3 bronze medals and
total of 6 medals at the championship. From our women fencers Narmina Jafarova
has gained victory in the all matches and has taken the title of winner. And Gunel
Mammadova and Aydan Verdiyeva have won bronze medal. In the competition
organized among men, Khalid Asadov has risen to the highest step of the
podium. Elvin Rzazada has only lost in the final and he has won silver medal
and Javanshir Aghakishiyev has been awarded a bronze medal.
