The fencer of “Neftchi” Sports Club Sabina Mikina won a license for Rio
2016 Summer Olympics will be held in Brazil. Our athlete achieved this success
in the European Classification Tournament organized in Prague, Czech Republic.
She won over the representative of Great Britain Katherine Kempe(15:9), the
German Anna Limbach (15:8) and the Bulgarian Palina Kaspiarovich and became the
winner of the competition. Thus, Mikina won the license for the tournament. It
is the first license in the country in the form of fencing.Note that, Sabina Mikina earned the right to participate in the Olympic
Games for the second time. The club’s graduate lost to the Ukrainian Olympic,
world and European champion and the winner of the first European Games in 2015
Olga Kharlan in the second match of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London and
suspended the competition.
