The European
Wrestling Championship among young wrestlers continues in Bucharest, Romania.
The Greco-Roman matches have already finished.The second day of the
championship the Greco-Roman wrestler of “Neftchi Sports Club” has become the
champion. Islam Abbasov (84 kg) has
moved on the final. In this way, he has defeated the Greek Efstratios Nikites,
the German Aryan Guney and The Croat Ivan Huklek. In the decisive final match
the wrestler’s opponent has been the representative of Turkey Ali Jengiz. Islam
Abbasov has won his opponent and won a gold medal. Thus, he has owned the third
gold medal of the European Championship.On the first day of competition
the wrestler of “Neftchi Sports Club” Mikayil Rahmanov (60 kg) had won a gold
medal of the continental championship.Note that, the
national team of Greco-Roman wrestling has become the third in the team score after
Georgia and Russia.
