Started in the
Hovsan Olympic-Sport Complex the Baku Open MMA Championship has been ended.
About 200 athletes from 20 countries have taken part in the tournament.The sportsmen of
“Neftchi Sports Club” have also joined the competition for the sake of the
national cup. The athletes have won 15 medals (4 gold, 3 silver and 8 bronze).
Teymur Mammadov (42 kg), Mahammadali Huseynov (66 kg), Yolgulu Mammadov (77 kg)
and Ali Alizada (100 kg) have won all the matches and become the winners.
