The Country Sambo Championship was ended held in the Shagan Olympic Sport Complex. The tournament was organized among the cadets, juniors and seniors.The sambo-wrestlers of the “Neftchi Sports Club” won 41 medals in the championship ( 11 gold, 13 silver and 17 bronze). Rashad Dunyamaliyev (56 kg), Teymur Allahverdiyev (70 kg), Ali Nazarli (75 kg) and Huseyn Isgandarov (81 kg) won all matches and became the champions among the cadets.Sabir Agayev (48 kg), Eyvaz Bakhshiyev (52 kg), Elmin Huseynov (62 kg), Bahadur Asgarov (68 kg), Elvin Abbasov (100 kg) repeated the same successes and won gold medals among the juniors.Agasif Samadov (52 kg) and Javidan Garayev (62 kg) won gold medals of the republic championship among the seniors.
