Judoka of the”Neftchi Sports Club” Vugar Talibov has become the winner of the Third Youth Summer Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentine. Our junior athlete, representing our country at the 66 kg weight category, won AL-SAGHEER Ahad, ULAIMONI JAMSHED (TJK) and Antonio Tornal (Dominican Republic) and qualified for the final. In the final bout, Talibov met with Russian Abrek Naguchevi and won.It should be noted that Azerbaijan is represented by 17 athletes at the III Summer Youth Olympic Games, where more than 4,000 athletes from 206 countries are participating. Our athletes will compete for at gymnastics, boxing, athletics, wrestling, judo, swimming, taekwondo, and table tennis events.
