The European Championship ended, which started on 12
May in Kazan, Russia.The sambo-wrestlers of “Neftchi Sports Club”
represented worthily our country in this prestigious competition. Two of our
athletes were awarded the medals of the competition. The athlete of the club
Javidan Garayev (62 kg) and Emin Hasanov (68 kg) won silver medals of the
European Championship.
