In the Baku Shooting
Centre the Republic Shooting Championship among the teenage and young shooters,
the athletes of our club demonstrated their abilities. The shooters won 4 gold,
a silver and 2 bronze medals and totally 7 medals of the country championship.
Elvin Astanov won gold medals in the 10 meters air pistol competitions and the
50 meters small-caliber pistol shooting competitions. And Mahmud Huseynli
became the 3rd in the 10 meters air pistol competitions. In the competitions
among the girls Zeynab Abbasova became the Azerbaijan Champion in the 10 meters
shooting and Leyla Mirzazada became the champion in 25 meters shooting
competitions. In the 10 meters air pistol competitions Fatima Novruzova won a
silver medal and Ulviyya Eyvazova won a bronze medal.
