In the
“Sarhadchi” Sports Olympic Centre the republic championship on
freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling among the young athletes continues. On the
first day of the competition freestyle wrestlers (163 athletes) have competed.Four representatives
of “Neftchi” Sports Club have been included among the winners. Rashad Yusifli
(74 kg) and Javid Sadikhov (84 kg) have only lost in the final and have been
awarded a silver medal. Other athletes Gudrat Agayev (66 kg) and Igbal Hajizada
(120 kg) have taken bronze medals of the national championship.
