In Baku Sports Palace the Republic Championship among young athletes has
been finished. In the two-day tournament 312 judokas within 45 teams have taken
part from the capital and other regions. The last day of the national
championship the athletes have competed on more 5 weight categories (60, 73,
90, 100 and +100 kg).The young judokas of “Neftchi” Sports Club have won 2 gold, 1 silver and
1 bronze medal on the same day of the race. Samir Agayev (73 kg) and Azer
Yagubov (90 kg) of them have reached to the country championship. Khalif
Mehdiyev (+100 kg) and Ruslan Mirzayev (90 kg) have been awarded a bronze
medal.Note that, the judokas of the club have won more 5 gold, 6 silver and 5
bronze medals on the first day of competition.Note that, the judokas of “Neftchi”
Sports Club have taken the 1st place on the general team account. “Gabala”
Sports Club has become the second and No.13 IOEUGIM has become the third.
