The traditional international
tournament “Takhti Cup” has been held on Greco-Roman wrestling among
adults in Tehran, capital of Iran.In the tournament
members of our national team have struggled on both freestyle and Greco-Roman
wrestling. Our wrestlers have won 2 medals in the tournament.It is gratifying
that, both of gained medals belong to the representatives of “Neftchi” Sports
Club. Greco-Roman wrestler Sakit Guliyev
(59 kg) and freestyle wrestler Mirjalal Hasanzada (57 kg) have won bronze
medals of the tournament.
