The European team fencing
competition has been held in Orleans, France.In the race of
continental teams the quartet consisting of “Neftchi” Sports Club’s fencers
Sabina Mikina, Fatima Ibrahimova, sisters Sevil and Sevinc Bunyatova have
represented our country. In the quarter-final our fencers have defeated
Britain’s “London” club with the score 45:31, and in the semifinal
they haven’t been able to team “Warsaw” of Poland – 40:45. Our team has gained the
bronze medal, France’s “Metro” club together.
