As it was reported, the XXVI Spartakiad of oil, gas and chemical industry workers ended, which started on 15 October, was organized by Neftchi Sports Club. 1412 participants from 30 enterprises were competing in 14 sports. The Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery Plant won the title of the winner in the overall team score. Oil Pipelines Department took the 2nd place and Oil and Gas Production Department of “Neft Dashlari” took the third place.The ceremony of awarding the winners was held today at the administrative building of the ” Neftchi Sports Club”. First of all, the club’s physical training manager, Akif Mammadov, talked about Spartakiada’s progress and the solemn opening ceremony. The speaker, who noted the very nice and fair passage of the tournament, expressed his satisfaction.Then, Elmar Babanli, Chief Executive Officer of the Club, delivered greetings and congratulations from the event’s executive director Mr. Sadig Sadigov.Speaking about the improvement of spartakiada from year to year and in the coming years, the club official stressed that the participants also had a great share in this work.
